Topic: Web Browsers Posted: 13 January 2005 at 3:14pm |
Hmm..there are 6 members logged in
4 using IE6
1 using Netscape 7 (he should change to Firefox as Netscape will no longer be updated)
1 using Firefox
Why don't you people give Firefox a whirl? Tabbed browsing etc. excellent, and less prone to attack.

Not as secure as people tend to think. The more people use it, then the more people will attempt to hack it and exploit loopholes. Safer than IE though.

What are we now eddie the software police? Nescape 7 works fine on os9 and has tabbed browsing, now you should get rid of that windoze 98 and update because Microsoft needs your money NOW....

I was just intrigued Dan.
As for XP , I don't really need a new PC as the sound on this one
is excellent for music, I don't play graphic hungry games so my 16mb
graphics are OK, the hard drive is a bit small but I get by, 256 mb
ram is fine and even the 750mhz processor is OK. Only real down
with 98 is the swap file gets in a state from time to time. I could
install XP over the top I suppose but it ain't worth it.

I had a splinter in my finger and I didn't cry when it was taken out with a needle.
