School Lane, post marked 1944. The steps used to be buried in the hedge until recently - don't know if the school is still there or not - I noticed recent development there.

Thought I'd found the original entrance to Chalfont Park still standing on Lower Road this weekend, but it isn't. Same style so obviously part of the original grounds. This is just before North Lodge and looking rather sorry for itself. Does anyone know if the entrance is still buried somewhere along Lower Road (see postcard at bottom of page 24 for the original).

Swan Farm, part of the Chalfont Park estate situated at the bottom of Joiners Lane and demolished to make way for the bypass.

The Elms on Amersham Road / A413, demolished to make way for the widening of the A413. I believe the brick walls by Love's Delight allotments / back of the Lady Gibb wood was part of the plot of land. It was knocked down to make the road wider, I was told into dual carriageway, but not sure if that last bit is true.
