Sadly, it didn't answer the question! Perhaps I will start a poll to see what people prefer!

If you were born elsewhere, but raised in Chalfont, but now live elsewhere (albeit nearby), do you still qualify as a Chalfontite/Chalfontian?

If you live in England, what do you call yourself? Scottish people are Scots, some Irish and Welsh are Celts, why are we seemingly the only ones who do not have a *label*? Just because you live in England surely that does not make you English? If you live in Scotland, but weren't born there, can you still call yourself a Scot? I'm a little bit muddled...

I don't like Chalfontite. Too many Chalfonts.

Whatever term is used I think could be used by anyone who lives in CSP regardless of whether they are an old timer or a newcomer. Otherwise the "outsider" snobby thing comes into play.

I would be an ex-StPetersite or whatever.

You could prefix it, and have a 'St Peter Chalfontian' etc. I think Little Chalfontians then get a raw deal though, and may be confused with the junior residents of the villages.

Does seem a bit unfair (I know I am being petty) but
can we not get our status back from when we were
on the other forum.

It would make me feel happy and improve my status
in life
