Hello! 21 y/o university student here, wondering if anybody knows of any places in the village or in nearby towns (I don't mind driving for 15 mins or so) where I can go to do some work? I struggle to focus at home.

It's very naff of me to want to spend my entire holiday studying, but I don't have much choice!

I know there are community libraries around but they don't tend to be very large, and don't always have desks. Cafés are an option but I'd ideally like to stay all day most days, and I'd have to keep buying stuff to justify taking up a table (sob broke student sob).

If anyone knows if any of the libraries nearby do have work spaces or if there are any studying-friendly places around, please let me know!

Hello! I believe that the library is CSP has a mezzanine floor that has desks and a computer up there and is a good study spot. They do also have a computer and desk in the childrens area downstairs. Also is opposite Madeira for a coffee boost during the day!

Thank you! I headed over there today actually. Having always been a member of the library, I realised today I have never been upstairs to the mezzanine! They do have a couple of good desks up there, you're right.
