I've sung the praises before about the delicious cornish pasties from the precinct, would highly recommend them. The other day I took my love for them a stage further and put one in a food blender, added a dash of worcester sauce, and put the result in between two slices of freshly baked white bread. It was marvellous.

Heard of an interesting sandwich filling on the Terry Wogan radio show this morning, fried egg and marmite.

Anymore most welcome as I've still got a way to go with my sandwich filling book. Also interested if anyone uses any special breads in making their sandwiches.

Ted, have you lost all your teeth or something? that mixture sounds like baby food! do away with the bread and just suck it up a straw!

or...

save wasting electricity get a friend to chew it up for you!

no sadly, i was short of time and needed convenience, i used the  freeze dried packet of / sauce/spices bought from the spice shop in Hi wyc, along with coconut milk, lemongrass, ,cream and garlic,

sometimes when really lazy i use the lloyd grossman sauce in a jar....
