I took those photos using 400mm lens with 2Xconverter, they were taken by Hodgmoor Woods and just shows what you can see on a clear day.

You were spot on Eddie, it was the ssvc but what does SSVC stand for,

I'm sure that there are many poeple who have no ider about the field full of satellite dishes, and to think that the ssvc just simply asked for planning permission for a dish and now got the whole field.

Are these not the 3 blocks of flats at Brentford, which are quite a landmark for miles around?

My Mum used to work there and I worked there in the summer holidays to earn some cash when I was at college.

I did one summer in the offices and 2 others out doing the gardening. The gardening was alot more fun !

Some more photoes I took today as the air was so clear, the mast looks very tall but thats just the way the lens (800mm) affect with the forgound realtionship to the background and I had to udjust the levels to hightlight the mast more then it was in the original.

If you drive down the lane towards Chalfont St Giles and as you approach the sharp S bends you can (on a clear day) see with the naked eye Wembery arch on the horizon, but must be a clear day

Certainly looks like Canary Wharf to me.  There are a pair of matching towers either side of the pyramid one, one is owned by HSBC,
