just be aware there are  people going round knocking on doors offering to do ' home improvements'  anything from  painting, replacing windows to doing driveways....
 
 ( my wife thinks they will DO your windows then 'drive way' with your car and or posessions ! )
 
they looked shifty, about mid 30's  were not of UK origin  ( would suggest eastern european) and she did not find / spot a vehicle to get a registration number..... these  canvassers were obviously looking for ' easy targets.'  
 
 be careful !
