I was gonna pm you on the 14th offering some words of comfort for you, Lindy and the kids, Catherine and Izy, (I think I remember their names!) I lost count of all the times Eddie asked me to go and hinder him from winning a pub quiz! His daughter told me about him being only allowed into a certain other pub if he had his young daughter with him! their hopes being that he would behave himself if he had a child with him.... he bribed his daughter with ice cream to stay in the pub! In his last few weeks he confided to me that his cancer had returned and said that he wasn't going to fight it this time. So, this thursday I shall drink till I wet myself in tribute to a great bloke!! Eddie would have wanted it that way!!! ------------- Perveyor of crap knob jokes since 2007. |
and the bar room arguements that he had with various landlords and bar staff!! He told me that he was barred from a pub in gerrards cross because he called the landlord a w**ker and swiftly added " well, he was!" Posted By: Helen

Will be having a beer in his memory on Thursday. Much missed. ------------- I used to be with it. But then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems scary and weird. |

I remember reading about Eddie’s passing, I remember how shocked and saddened I was even though I had only ever exchanged PMs with him and had never met him... He is missed. -------------
