I'm in that crowd somewhere I'm sure!

I used to be with it. But then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems scary and weird.

I remember doing country dancing at the Adstock school fetes in the 50's. Shame things have to change. (I mean Adstock being pulled down, not me stopping country dancing!)

I think the Adstock fete was a wonderful event. I always remember it being
packed. I also remember getting out of loads of lessons having to practice
for our performances! One time we did perly kings and queens kind of thing
(I think it would have been 1976 or 1977) I still remember the old songs as
a result. You know "my old man said follow the van and dont dilly dally on
the way" "Knees up Mother Brown" "Lambeth Walk" Classics! It was such a
shame that they tore that place down as I think it generated a lot of
excitement for kids at the Middle School. Oh well, progress....I would
imagine the people living in those terraced houses like it though, good
location!
