i was wondering does anyone else have any pictures from around this time? as i would love to see if i am in any of them :), as i dont have any piccys of me as a kid from that time i remember doing a production of mary poppins , i would love to see any piccys or any class piccys i was born in 1977 so not sure what year i was when i left i left when i was 8 maybe 9 let me know thanks ------------- emma |

When I did Adstock it was late 60's. I will try and find some photos Its a big shame the houses and gardens have gong

I think the Adstock fete was a wonderful event. I always remember it being
packed. I also remember getting out of loads of lessons having to practice for our performances! One time we did perly kings and queens kind of thing (I think it would have been 1976 or 1977) I still remember the old songs as a result. You know "my old man said follow the van and dont dilly dally on the way" "Knees up Mother Brown" "Lambeth Walk" Classics! It was such a shame that they tore that place down as I think it generated a lot of excitement for kids at the Middle School. Oh well, progress....I would imagine the people living in those terraced houses like it though, good location! |
