Made this the other day, very nice simple dish:

Serves lots of people

2x 400g Sausage meat
1x 150g Packet Sage & Onion Stuffing (I think it was this one - not the small one anyway)
1x Small Onion
King Edward Potatoes

1. Make up the stuffing according to instructions

2. Dice onion

3. Mix sausage meat with stuffing and diced onion

4. Place into large dish and put in 200C oven for 35 mins

5. Boil potatoes and mash using lots of butter

6. Spoon mash onto sausage meat and place in oven for a further 10 minutes

Serve with veg and brown sauce!

I used to be with it. But then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems scary and weird.

It was lovely. Although we did have it 4 nights running (Dan did say it served lots) so by last night I was slightly sick of it and glad we had finished it.

Not exactly a dieting delight!  But sounds lovely and would have thought particuarly good with baked beans & melted cheese on top of the mash!

I didn't actually get to have this as my wife had seconds.  The gammon and egg pie was damn nice though........

Back to the sausage meat pie, try adding a tin of tomatos with meat and onion, fandabbydozzy. My mum makes it.

Oh dear, Rusti you have hit rather a sore point with the tomatoes. This Forum is divided on the subject. I (and DanW - the original provider of this recipe) believe that tomatoes are the food of the Devil  whereas other are rather partial to them!
