Feel free to put your own postcode in:
http://www.police.uk/crime/?q=Gerrards%20Cross%20SL9,%20UK#outcomes/2013-06

Just with a 1mile radius of the bridge, it says the village had 45 reported crimes in June 2013.

Leaving the authorities with 61 outcomes between Jan 2012 and June 2013, so they must be working flat out on these as 19 are still under investigation and 33 are no further action. Interesting there is no data for outcomes on Anti Social offences.

I think it is more worrying that out of the 45 incidents only 1 person has been charged, 1 fined, 3 local resolutions and 3 cautions.
Now that is helping me sleep sound in my bed at night..Censored

Thats the ones that have been reported, a lot of people these days dont report crimes as they dont think anything will be done about it.

Don't forget that many of these crimes will be the same person.

The recent spate of burglarys in the village must be someone just released from prison or someone new to the area. Or kids who have just got into crime. But chances are it's just one or two people who know that they will be let off if caught.

Give them 25 years in prison, you will not see as many break ins.

If it costs £1m to lock up someone and stop hundreds, perhaps thousands of crimes, then it's money well spent.
