There is no planning application in for it, so can only assume it is Nat West clearing out stuff.

Still empty!
However, the former Wilcox site on Lower Road is currently under offer. Be interesting to see what business or development is purchasing it. |

Wilcox got planning permission for 4 houses on the site in 2018, but nothing since.

Natwest currently being advertised for commercial rent £60k pa for whole site or 3 x units for £20k

Wow, that is a lot of money in the current climate for retail. Maybe Natwest is still paying for it and owner in no hurry to lease out.
The Wilcox site has a lot of history - I think there had previously been a thread about it on the site.
