Hi All, Does anyone know what the sudden increase of lorries is due to up and down Joiners Lane? They seem to be aggregate lorries or similar. I am not referering to Tim's Diaries lorries. I have just spoke to the people who man the gate at the HS2 ventilation shaft tunnel on Chesham Lane who have catagorically stated it's not for their works (and in all honesty the HS2 depot did look very quiet). They believe it to be lorries associated with a "J something" builders. Cheers MV

Could it be anything to do with the houses being built at Audley Dene?

They come out of a site about 30 yards down (towards Denham) from the entrance to Chalfont Lodge care home on the opposite side. One came past me a while back when I was out walking and covered me in the dirt/mud they were carrying. I assume it’s the top end of the HS2 site which otherwise feeds onto the A412 between West Hyde and Denham. They seem to come out, drive up towards CStP and then down Joiners. And vice versa when empty.
