   situated at the rear of the theatre  looking out towards the thames the La Taverna  is a great place to eat, situated over 2 floors - you get a good view of whats going on !

food is ' italian' in style, and i can recommend the scallops and the veal, both were fantastic.... service was good, everything cooked fresh to order, the bill was a bit on the steep side but  what i expected for the quality of food and the  service we got ...............
