i think at the end of the day emsy you ARE doing the right thing, when your career has taken off and you are earning vast sums then you will eventually work out where it is that you want to settle and you will then be in a good position to buy....

i get really annoyed at people moaning that they cant afford to find somewhere to live, i found somewhere, you did, jenny did, dan dan did, chris did.... do i need to go on ?

we make our choices, we decided what is important to us, we all made a sacrifice to live where we live,  life goes on, we all strive and work hard for what we have got.....we work had to finance our choices... you know what income you have coming in, so you 'cut your cloth accordingly'

we do without to be able to afford the things we want....just like they have to learn to do !

i could moan that i dont have a big enough garden, or that i would like a bigger house with another bedroom or a pool  or a jacuzzi, but at the end of the day i cant afford it- so i have what i can afford at my 'stage in life' - THERE IS NO POINT MOANING ABOUT IT !

these moaning first time buyers who cant afford to buy in CSP..... then its a sad fact they have to face up to, you cannot afford it, live elsewhere until you can afford it -  then buy in CSP -

i can drive an aston martin, i just cant afford to own one....do you see me going to the gov'mernt for hand outs or for 'affordable luxury car grants' expecting others to pay for my 'desired' lifestyle.... NO

they should stop moaning get off their backsides and do some work, earn some money - hell do some overtime !

that way they will eventually earn enough to get what they want....we all had to do it !

need a stella and i need one now !

yep,your right,however a little helping hand[A BRAKE]

essential  workers that empty our bins still have to live, and £5.50 an hour don't go very far when trying to survive, these people cannot earn 40k a year.

they are not tube drivers........

Not everybody works locally. Most people travel to work. Should the people who empty bins (your example) be a select group who can live where they work?

i agree chris, but to be fair bin men dont earn £ 5 per hour either....

there are some essential workers who dont earn anything like 40 k a year, i never said they did - and there are properties in their price range, just maybe not in central CSP !

and there are properties on a shared ownership schemes or on housing associations books if needed

My wife did some temping work for ' Airways housing' this is a housing assoc who were initially set up to find accomodation for heathrows workers, since then they now provide properties to anyone in any line of work- the types locations and costs for their properties cover all budgets, and I mean all.... this includes locations such as windsor, stoke poges, slough, wraysbury, amersham, as well as cheshire and yorkshire....

there is property for all........

chris, bin men 4.85 hr.....?

are you sure its a full time bin  men 's job,  not just a temporary litter picker ?

be realistic, thats £ 9312 a year based on a 40 hr week.....i cant see many bin men getting up early for 9k a year......i think there may be an error in the figures somewhere.....

our litter pickers earn More than that !

need a stella and i need one now !
