anyone know if the victim of the stabbing last sat night is ok ? - did they recover ?
everywhere seems to be very quiet on the incident... and scenes of crime were there most of sunday too....so i guess it was quite serious..... and exactly a year since the previous stabbing in CSP

Apparently it happened at the bottom of Churchfield Rd near the new Gold Hill Church construction?
I have witnessed on a few occasions blatant anti social behaviour, drug taking and alcohol consumption near there behind the Misbourne Doctor's surgery in the small green there, not that this is connected in any way to the alleged stabbing. |

The garden of rest has for decades been home to younger people indulging shall we say. There were some plans by some in the village for a radical make over of the site last year, but it was expensive...
I'm guessing no comment on the stabbing as it is a criminal investigation. Did read about a dog attack and someone having their finger amputated

yes brewski, the stabbing took place just below the alleyway from the garden of rest to church field road, and I am also aware of the area being known as a place where people ‘use’ ...
Just wondering if this latest incident is drug related....

Maybe it's just me but walking through the village nowadays, especially in the evening doesn't feel like it did even just five years ago.
I feel it's definitely changed, and not for the better. Still, that's what they call progress! Can't think why Cheryl Gillan moved out when she did!

I heard from a neighbour that there were a load of police around Pennington Road at the weekend complete with dogs.

Brewski you are spot on. Things have gone awry to say the least. Nothing to do with the Holy Cross development of course. That has been such a benefit to the village.......
