Newmans yes. It was the first shop I ever went to on my own. I bought some hot cross buns at a farthing each!

He certainly is. You’ll very often see him mid morning on the bench by the Crumbs bus stop or doing his shopping. Early bird (noon) in the Greyhound too. Always happy to say hello to people.

I can cast a very small amount of light. Cycles/repairs was Millie (William). My father. We lived there (over shop) approximately 1951 – 1957. Left when I was 10. I remember some of the others including Willoughby’s - the daughter Anne was my age. |
