New course search launched by Connexions
Students in Buckinghamshire looking for courses after their GCSEs have a new online search engine to help them. Hosted by young people's career and training advice service, Connexions, the new course search has gone live in preparation for GCSE results on Thursday 25 August. Young people can search online to find a course and where to study across school sixth forms, colleges and training providers - and research for details of open evenings too. The new course search will also enable parents and carers to find out more about the future learning options available to their son or daughter. Youth Participation Worker for Connexions Buckinghamshire, Carla Paice, said: 'Young people have had a hand in designing the course search, as we wanted to ensure it met their needs. We kept the design and layout simple so it's easy to use. The new course search now provides a one stop information advice and guidance service for our young people in Buckinghamshire.'
