EXCUSE ME . I give a damn . Cricket is what England is all about .

Not football hooligans and chavs.

NOTHING but NOTHING stirs the passion more than the England football team playing in the World cup.

I love Cricket and Rugby, but they are only played at commonwealth level....

I was living in Germany at the time of the last World Cup and I have never been so proud to be English (even though I did get lots of stick for the fact that Germany did better than us). I usually watch England footie matches, but there was something quite special about being in the minority. I also rooted for the other British teams to do well, while my Scottish chums sported Argentina shirts when we played them (so we made them sit on the other side of the pub!).
