Stopping unwanted traders is not possible as they apparently, according to my information, have the right to trade as long as they have the relevant licence.
Thanks Fontie, will try and get the Bucks Adv. to help.

The yellow kebab van had the correct licence but he was forced away.
The Flames kebabs just aren't as good.
Any chance the choirs could rehearse this year?

Can we strongly request that a team of community officers - police are visible this year? Not just in the precinct but up the top end of market place.
If eggs were thrown at last Saturday’s firework display then they will be out in force again on fun night.
Also there is a group who really get there kicks by being intimidating.

I have written to the Police, requesting more officers, but as yet no reply. But hopefully we will have volunteer 'marshalls' walking around the village to keep an eye on things and they can then contact the police if things kick off.
The kebab van as you say Malc was correctly licensed, he just made the mistake of parking of yellow lines, so eventually he was moved on. That is what I was told on good authority.

Yes, parked in a taxi rank that has never seen a taxi. He wasn't causing a nuicence or anything.
I suppose he could have legitimately parked on Market Place!
