Bought a lovely fresh nutty brown wholemeal baugette the other day to make a snack.
Put in a few slices of Melun Brie, a couple of slices of leaves of lettuce, a sliced tomato, and a generous helping of fruit chutney - it was delicious washed down by a chilled Tiger beer or two. By the way had a lovely Sunday roast in the Greyhound last Sunday, must congratulate them on their food and its presentation. |

Yes, had a week under canvas in Sandwich, Kent, where else? Pretty poor sandwiches down there considering the name of the place. |

Made myself a lovely spam and pickle sandwich this lunch time,
delicious. In my opinion spam is very under-rated, it makes marvellous
fritters.
