How will this affect all the businesses there?
Passing trade, deliveries ect? Not to mention the vets. As long as the two wheeled minority who pay zero in road tax are looked after.

I wondered how long the madness of mainly empty cycle lanes forced onto main thoroughfares in London would reach here.
Seems I have my answer.

I'm all for the new parking restrictions and money being spent on a permanrnt solution but I really feel £515,000 on TEMPORARY road schemes are a massive white elephant. I also can't believe that this is being rushed through when it has taken years to get a parking scheme in place and some yellow lines. You really couldn't make it up!

Bucks CC have decided that they are going to make Lower Road into a temporary cycle route, for it's complete length from Market Place right through, to include the far side beyond Kingsway. There will be no through traffic, only access for residents, and there will be planters placed in the road to restrict access. Going to be interesting to see how temporary this is?
