I popped into Crumbs earlier to say hello as the door was open to be told that they are opening officially tomorrow. Only a take away service at this stage but such good news. It’s was good to see Birrings open too recently. Some form of normality finally returning to the village thank goodness. Can’t understand why Costa hasn’t had a takeaway coffee service for a while but such is.

Totally agree, it is great to see Birrings back open fresh fruit rather than supermarket packaged stuff, the butchers and the fish man have been open right through the lockdown. However, what I really need is a hairderesser.

I personally think hairdressers should be seen as front line and essential. Most of the population are seriously overdue a haircut. The price of clippers online has gone through the roof.

The bizarre thing is that the dog grooming place up Market Place has been open for most of the lockdown, so that the dog could have a haircut but we still can’t. And that isn’t a shaggy dog story.

You can be able to get Costa Coffee from the Co op or the Tesco Garage throughout the lockdown. Talking to someone who works for them, they want the footfall to the shopping to return before opening.
