Lord of the Manor is a giant scam and should be abolished, so hope she wins and some sort of precendent is set. 'Owns' the commons but never used to pay the council for their upkeep?? Someone might know if the residents have to pay for access to their houses annually too? Parish Council have to ask permission for things like Feast Day. Lots of them are out there based on completed outdated laws.

whilst I pay be going 'off piste' all this demolition of older houses and throwing up many smaller ones all crushed up next to eachother is IMHO ruining the area

Interesting he was offered £100,000 for just allowing building access but he turned it down. In effect he can name his price as she bound by the his rights of land.

Too greedy, so the 'Lords' end up paying huge legal fees - should have taken the money!

Don’t you just hate petty jealousy? The bloke fought an issue he believed in, put his money where his mouth was, and lost so he will pay whatever he needs to. And the hyenas giggle behind faceless anonymous websites.

I believe it was simply a case of greed, the 'Lords' had been offered £100k but refused it, so they obviously were not entirely against development of the site, it was just that the cheque wasn't big enough!
