	Just to alert others - I had a package left on my porch by royal mail, in a fairly inconspicuous place, not visible from the road or pavement. It wasn't worth a huge amount but that's not the point - On checking where package was, it said it had been delivered and I then checked the CCTV which is in my porch, and could clearly see a young man, put a leaflet through the letter box, then knock on the door - he then turns to someone who was obviously at the end of the path, the CCTV only covers my porch - he speaks to him and mimes the size of the box, fishes the leaflet back from the letterbox, and takes the parcel, puts it under his coat, and walks off. I have reported to the Police, but do wonder if the leaflet thing is a scam to look on doorsteps and see what is there. I fully appreciate in hindsight that we must stop having items delivered to the door if we are not going to be in - Thought I would share to alert others, we cant be the only people that have items left in 'safe places'.
