It really does! But I can't remember the last time I saw a PCSO or a policeman actually walking or driving around the village and of course we have no police office now, wonder if thats significant? We're easy picking's here maybe? No chance of getting a police response swiftly and an easy get away because of A413, M40?

Not CSP but operating in the area: Distraction burglary at William Shakman House Chalfont St Giles Between 18.00 and 18.30 hours on Wednesday 28th February 2018, 2 offenders committed a burglary against a 96 year old female living on her own. The two males told her that the upstairs neighbour had a water leak and they wanted to check her pipes to make sure they were all working correctly. Both males were wearing fluorescent jackets and gloves. If anyone saw any persons or vehicle acting in a suspicious manner at this time, please contact DC 5815 Stuart Cook reference 43180062938. On Friday 20th April 2018 between 10.20 am and 4 pm a burglary occurred at Cherry Acre, Chalfont St Peter. Unknown offenders have gained entry by forcing a side door and stolen jewellery and other items. If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area of Cherry Acre please contact Case Investigator C8368 Jon Brewer, Amersham Investigation Hub via the Thames Valley Police non emergency number, 101 and quote crime reference 43180118848. Watched a nasty bottling on Thursday night whilst trying to enjoy a quiet pint, I wonder if that will appear on these? Not impressed with the fly tipping on Rickmansworth Lane either, sheer brazenness.

Burglary on Joiners Lane last few days. Offenders gained entry by parking a white van infront of front door and then forced the door open. House alarm was then quickly disabled once they had gained entry.
I dont have the exact date or times as yet but will post once I do.
