Thanks for the up-dated pictures Watsy.
Shows I'm getting old, I remember before the toilets were being built. Now there being repaired.

It's a free country, adopt whatever PC stance you want. Just don't tell me which stance I should take just because it clashes with your opinion.

It's a disgrace, an appalling situation, when will someone in the correct capacity get this mess under control. These people are doing what they want and showing utter contempt for the community. Come on our elected representatives, show us what you are made of and put some pressure on them to sort it out!

Complete monstrosity, chamber of commerce say it's still to be painted and the promised greenery and foilage will happen in due course...

The extended pavement is working well opposite!!! notice the plastic bollards to prevent parking or any fatal accidents.

Absolute shambles this whole village has become.

Maybe this is Persimmon's way of having a dig back at the village after the whole project was dragged endlessly through the courts and i imagine the delays and cut in number of houses cost them a huge amount of money.

The payback also seems to have extended to who they employ on the site. No recruitment done in Britain. All tradesmen working on this site are being paid approximately half the rate for there trades and have been recruited in eastern Europe. No local jobs created.

Will there be a traffic light controlled pedestrian crossing at The Vale/Market Place junction?
