Someone mentioned to me recently that the late Gerry Anderson and his second wife Sylvia used to live in Gerrards Cross during the sixties and seventies until they split up.
Apparently they owned two places here over the years...
Does anyone know where they were?

My dad used to be a carpenter and he did a kitchen for Gerry Anderson back in the 60's and the old formica that was discarded ended up being a breakfast bar for me in the 80's!

Lots of famous, worthy or notorious folks have lived in Chalfont St Peter over the years. Most of them get a mention in the book 'Famous & Infamous Residents of Chalfont St Peter', which was on sale in the bookshop, until it sold out.

My recollection is that the Andersons lived on Claydon Lane - we lived on Claydon End between 1964 and 1965.

David Lane who was a film and television Director and worked alongside directing many of Gerry Andersons work lived in Chalfont St Peter.
He directed many of the Thunderbirds series, Captain Scarlet and Superman.
I believe he still lives in the area in Gerrards Cross.
