The 3 Pigs has changed hands again and has apparently been bought by the same chain as the Apple Tree. It's closed for refurb for a few weeks and then will open with a gastro pub feel.

Well that's the good news, but where are the regulars going to go?

Can't see it being their sort of pub.

Another pub bites the dust to be replaced with a faceless chain. On the plus side, at least the service will probably be quicker!
I used to be with it. But then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems scary and weird.

Looks like a few of them have already started drinking in the White Hart.

On the plus side, it gives the people of CSP somewhere within walking distance where they can have an evening meal which isn't a curry.

From what I have been told it is not the same group as the Apple Tree that have bought it, but it is going to be a Gastro Pub and is due to re-open the beginning of Dec.
