I'm sure ReTro that in a hundred years or so Time Team will be making a whole programme on the history of your home when they uncover your walls scrapping the wall paper back one layer at a time

Yeah, it's a shame. I think our place was built in the '60s sometime, not sure exactly when. It does say somewhere on my wall under the wallpaper though. It's quite a good read, as the walls have bee written all over and it gets well preserved under all the paste. |

also the top end of lovel road the houses only goto upto numner 48 , i think the numbers go upto somelike 99 now..

Leachcroft I believe was built just after the war - I guess that's why it's not mentioned.

Pennington Road not mentioned Steve, Boundary Road mentioned in 1940, and a relation ( The Nash family ) at 51 Lovel Road in 1940 as well. |
