mince!

slow cook until its brown and the juice/fat can be tipped into a container through a colander and binned.

add 2 tins of chopped tomatoes

add 3 oxo cubes

add 2 fine chopped medium onions (or 1 big bugger!)

add as much garlic as you like... I use at least half a bulb coarsly grated ... (but not when I am sha...entertaining!!)

add a healthy squirt of tabasco or chilli powder.

add 1 tablespoon of dried basil

add 1 tablespoon of dried origano

add as much red wine you fancy.. slurp the rest while its cooking!

bish bash bosh! slop it out over some pasta!

you'll luv me for it!!

!!

this will serve 4 skinny people... or me, Mrs Mad and the hound, or Baggles as a mid meal snack!

It's a free country, adopt whatever PC stance you want. Just don't tell me which stance I should take just because it clashes with your opinion.

You mean Klix machines? And Flavia....

I believe MEI is just about no more - I was last based in Wokingham with the ISI bit and they shared a building. And Mr Moggies worked briefly at Pedigree Electronics in Melton Mowbray, but that's now the pouch packing plant...
