Topic: A40 / A413 Appeal Posted: 10 October 2005 at 7:44pm |
I feel I should ask as it seems a bit morbid, but there is an appeal for witnesses to a fatal accident on the junction of the A40 and A413.
That junction is about as safe as you can get, yet there was a bad accident involving joy riders not so long ago and now this.
Having witnessed the robbery from the petrol station, I know that accidents can happen to the most careful of drivers if faced with idiots on the road, but these things never seem to get reported and we are left wondering.

I don't think it said, that's why I'm asking. The boards put up are not the usual yellow ones.
I hadn't seen anything in the news.

Last night as I was walking across the precinct car park there were a
group of blokes standing around a van. A bloke then got in the van out
of the car park (almost running me over in the process). He then
speeded round to the roundabout by the Travel Agents, skidded round and
roared up the hill (where a very sensible car pulled into the bus stop
by Budgens so the van wouldn't hit him). The rest of the blokes left in
the precinct car park thought it was hysterically funny
Some people will not be happy until they have killed either someone else or (hopefully) themselves!

It was a white Ford Escort Van:

I used to be with it. But then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems scary and weird.
