The public inquiry re. the NSE development is continuing. It was day 4 yesterday with the NSE putting forward their experts on traffic/highways and environment.

As it stands the 3rd parties are expected to be heard on Friday 8th with an Evening sitting on Thursday 7th July 6pm – 8pm Council Chamber in Amersham for 3rd parties who cannot attend during the 9-5 day.

Our MP is also scheduled to speak in opposition on Friday 8th at 2pm.

PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND THE NSE PLANNING INQUIRY.

Please forward this request by email or verbally to your neighbours and friends living locally.

The planning appeal into the NSE plans to build a massive housing estate enters its fifth day today.

To date it has been poorly attended by members of the public which is noted by the inspector from the attendance sheet collected each day.

The SENSE committee have opposed the plans and kept you informed for the last two years - now we need your support to demonstrate the strength of feeling against the proposed development - please don't leave it to others to do it for you.

We know attendance makes a difference.

We know the Inspector tours the area most days - can he easily see your poster ?

We know much of the proceedings to date are tedious and hard to follow - the NSE are continually submitting late and revised documents.

An evening session has now been added on Thursday to make it easy for all to attend at least once.

When attending please sign the attendance register.

CDC Offices, King George V Road, Amersham.

Wednesday 6th July 10am to 5pm - CDC Evidence

Thursday 7th 10am to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm - CDC Evidence followed by 3rd parties - members of the public.

Friday 8th 10am to 5pm - Cheryl Gillan MP followed by remaining 3rd parties.

Tuesday 12th 10am to 5pm - SENSE Evidence followed by summing up.

A FEW HOURS OF YOUR TIME NOW.......... OR PLENTY OF TIME TO WATCH THE ESTATE BEING BUILT?

SENSE

Henry,

Good posts - thank you.

I might make Thursday evening.  I'll definitely be there all day Tuesday - hope to see some Forum members.
