Hi, all
Confirmed some frustrating information today - the person/s who run the twitter account called Chalfont St Peter refuse to say who they are Confused.  They have been running for the last 6 years, they have 2440 followers and the account does not say anywhere who administers the account and posts comments on the page.
 
 When I was told this, I thought it would be an easy solve - I would just private message the account and ask who administers it.  I definitely did not expect to receive a reply saying 'a person/persons who live in CSP'. I asked again today and they still refuse to say - that is pretty weird, I think.  

The account is called Chalfont St Peter.
It reaches 2440 people every time it tweets, AND the person who runs it insists on remaining anonymous?!?

Anybody else thinks this stinks?  Or just me being suspicious...

It looks as if it is a Chalfont St Peter AFC driven feed and "Whois" does provide the relevant information for the referenced web site.

Art, there are 2 twitter accounts, one for AFC @csp_afc and @stpetervillage or do you means the latter is also driven by the football club? I'm useless on these things! But I have noticed that it says 'supported by theginguide' on the page and looking at The Gin Guide it is a publication that is based in Beaconsfield....

Yeah Sid, I personally think it does if it's a community feed, they can tweet for themselves under their own name, same goes for CSP facebook groups, it should be pretty transparent if they are acting on behalf of the community otherwise they can post and tweet on their own personal accounts. But that's just MHO!

Dickybird says it been running like this for 6 years. Has there been a problem, with the present setup?
