What an exciting lot they were.  Of course, evenings were long and dull back in Roman times, so they probably had long and involved discussions in the local forum about rumours of chariot crashes near the local amphitheatre.  Bet they went well off topic too.

I remembered Grumio but forgot all about good old Clemens!
Still don't know what I want to do when I grow up...

There ya go.  I'd clean forgotten Quintus.  Bit of a wimp though, now I think of it ...

Didn't they all spend their time in the tepidarium or something?

And yes, Quintus was a wimp, Grumio had a horrible beard,(just like the man in 1970's Joy of Sex), Clemens had very big legs and a BAD haircut, but I quite liked Cerberus!

And then they all died coz they lived in Pompeii in AD89......Confused

I can't for the life of me remember what they spent their time doing.  Roman sorts of things, I guess.

But I seem to recall that Grumio was a slob as well as being beardie man.  He probably had body odour too.

D'you think the illustrator was the same for those booklets as for the Joy of Sex?

Not that I'd know, of course, being a spinster of this parish.  Oh, I forgot, that's not allowed any more.  I have to be a single person.  How dull.
