They were actually tomato calyxes ( we got them to return them to us) and it always amazed me that when we explained this to customers they could get enraged by the idea of real, fresh tomatoes being used in the sauce!

Its made in Holland, I've been round the factory and happily eat the products, as its so clean - can highly recommend!

was it not part of the mars group?

as masterfoods now.

Still is Masterfoods (ie Mars)....

As is Uncle Bens, Seeds of Change, Ebly, Yeoman Potato, Tyne Brand (now gone) plus petfood and confectionery.

You'll be glad to know the different items are made at completely different factories

Still don't know what I want to do when I grow up...

It's a free country, adopt whatever PC stance you want. Just don't tell me which stance I should take just because it clashes with your opinion.

You mean Klix machines? And Flavia....

I believe MEI is just about no more - I was last based in Wokingham with the ISI bit and they shared a building. And Mr Moggies worked briefly at Pedigree Electronics in Melton Mowbray, but that's now the pouch packing plant...

Still don't know what I want to do when I grow up...
