"They stay at Lords, they stay at Lords, They stay, The Ashes stay at Lords...."
Looking forward to it with Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff and Kevin 'Bam-Bam' Pietersen in the side!

Yup, the Ashes sit in the long room, year after year,
while the Aussies "hold them"... and have done
since what was it? 1987 over there? Don't think we'll
be seeing them metaphorically return this year
either. Flintoff needs surgery and is going to be on
crutches for months, Pietersen excelled over in SA
because he grew up playing for KZ Natal and knows
the pitches... all we can hope is that Harmison the
Homesick returns to some kind of form otherwise it'll
be all about Ponting and Hayden scoring double
tons. Just have a look at the latest batting rankings if
you want to see just how little chance we have... and
the bowling rankings for that matter! Sorry to sound
pessimistic... but beating SA 2-1 was no great
shakes, they're a poor side. The Aussie second XI
would walk a series over there... and beat most of
the rest of the world apart from India away.

I dont think it will be quite as clearcut as you say, fivelive....True, the Aussies will win, no doubt about that, but I think it will be pretty close.
This is the best "Pommie" team for quite a few years now.........
