For Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd August 2005.

Are there any hotels, guest houses or even preferably locals (to keep the cost down) for the above dates in CSP willing to accommodate 15 of my friends and I (16 total) during these dates?

We will be visiting the area to attend a ceremony up in London.

Is transport to/from Central London reliable, regular and easily accessible?

Are the local constabulary friendly to humerous drunks?

Hope to hear some response to this request, as I think you're village could benefit a small cash winfall, particularly if I am successful in securing accommodation for the initial advanced party.

Willie.

That's an awkward one Willie. Room rates here are MUCH cheaper at weekends and hotels are horrendously expensive midweek.

I reckon the cheapest option could be one of those Travelodge places or similar.

Hostel or camping is an option but then you are out in the middle of nowhere.

I think the only place locally that could accomodate 16 people is the Ethorpe or the Bull. Might be better off staying at a Travel inn in Wycombe or the like.
I used to be with it. But then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems scary and weird.

Travelodge Covent Garden is £89 per night per room (twin) that's £45 each a night and you are in Central London . No travel expenses etc. You could all come and see us one evening

Methinks this could be a good money-making opportunity. I don't think my flatmates would be too impressed though.

Depends if they mind sleeping on the floor or not.

I can't see my flatmates or Mr Emsy being happy about 16 Scottish blokes kipping in the flat though! Shame as we have good transport connections to London, are friendly to humourous drunks, and I could benefit from a small cash windfall.
