Chalfont Fine Arts is a member of the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS). We meet at Chalfont St Peter Community Centre on the third Wednesday afternoon of each month for a lecture by a visiting speaker. In addition, outings are arranged to exhibitions and historic buildings, during the year, as well as two Study Days when a particular subject is explored in more depth.

We extend a warm welcome to visitors and new members. For further information and to learn more about our forthcoming lectures please visit our web site.

Chiltern Open Air Museum

Newland Park, Gorelands Lane, Chalfont St Peter; Tel 01494 871117

A collection of restored local buildings in a rural setting, including an Iron Age house, medieval barns and halls, a Victorian farmyard, a 19th Century working smithy and toll house, workers' cottages and churches, a Second World War 'pre-fab' furnished bungalow and magnificent Victorian public conveniences.  Regular demonstrations of local rural crafts in period costume are very popular and the the site is an accredited centre for school curriculum projects.  It has a picnic area, a cafe, shop, children's play area, a superb nature trail amongst the woods and a large car park.  Adjoining is the Hawk and Owl Centre.  Open April to October inclusive 10am - 5pm daily. http://www.coam.org.uk/
