Just seen what looks like a horrendous accident on Rickmansworth Lane. Hoping all involved are safe & well.

Are you sure it was an accident, Jay? At around 6pm some workmen in a truck with flashing yellow lights arrived at lower end of Ricky Lane and set up traffic lights and 'men at work' signs. They then spent the whole night digging up the road. This may have been what you saw. They knocked off on Friday evening and there's no work going on over the weekend but the traffic lights are still in place.

I thought I saw an ambulance there but you may well be right. Rather it was what you said

Hope so, Jay. We've had enough accidents and fatalities in the village in recent years. Stay safe, everyone.
