The Poppy Appeal is nearly upon us and we are starting to prepare for a good year. Our numbers are dwindling however and we would love some new volunteers and some additional support. You don't have to give a lot of your time, roles we need filling are:

- Collecting slots outside Co-op, Tesco Metro and the Precinct in 1 hour slots.
- House to house collecting, possibly in your own street depending on where you are.
- Help delivering/collecting trays and tins to volunteers.
- Help counting the money.
- If somebody has more time to give, help with co-ordinating/contacting the volunteers is desperately needed.

We also need volunteers to help us close the road for the parade on Sunday 12th November at 2pm until approx 3.30pm. This great village event really needs volunteers if we are to keep going.
