Just had a visit by the police. Following a report by a householder in the Copthall Lane area that she found a man trying her doors, Officers are scouring the neighbourhood for him. It's all too easy in this sweltering heat to leave a door or window open and unwatched. Be alert everyone.

During the month of July there have been reported burglaries in Hill Farm Road, Copthall Lane, Hillfield Road and White House Close Chalfont St Peter
