So what are your conclusions Dave-R?
I have never understood any perceived need for supplements.  Surely food should provide all the necessary nutrients and the human race has survived pretty well before supplements came on to the market.

If working out either to lose weight, build up or get fit certain supplements can help big time, multi vitamin is essential, and glutamine is a must to help recover from exercise.

All the other stuff is IMO not essential but not to say its not a help

I've been taking cod liver oil this year for the first time since being a kiddy. Tastes just as bad as it did then but I don't like swallowing tablets.

And I eat olive spread or Flora Pro Activ or Flora Omega 3 but apparently the milk with extra Omega 3 doesn't contain enough to make any difference and is just a rip-off.

Shocked well I'm glad that cod liver oil tablets and fish fingers (Birds Eye) are the only fishy things that I put in my mouth!

I used to like cod liver oil (liquid, not tablets) when I was a child.

It tastes worse when you're older Jessama...don't know why.

But sometimes you just have to swallow stuff..........my joints benefit from it definitely.

It still tastes ok to me.  I have a bottle around somewhere and have had some in recent years.  I like to eat fish too (except fish 'n' chips) and had trout for dinner tonight.  Yum.

Don't like fish. It's a real effort to eat it.

It's really no effort to eat fish Malc.  You open your mouth, put it in, chew and swallow.  Easy.  Just like eating meat. Smile

Not even gingerbread men?

I used to be with it. But then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems scary and weird.
