Don't click on "enter forum" on the Middx.net website . There is a virus embedded in the website.

Thanks Eddie............I have Firefox on a cd, but hav'nt tried it.....being reasonably happy with Internet Explorer 6..........is it really worth trying....?????

It's the thing that connects you to the internet Jill. Most people use Internet Explorer or Netscape but now there is Firefox as well and Netscape is being withdrawn.

Ah, now I know.  I use IE6 (as the powers that be know), so what advantage would Firefox give me?

Thanks Eddie, I switched to Firefox recently following something I read on Hillingdonchat (at least I think it was Hillingdonchat).
Not being an I.T. "techie" I assume it offers better protection?

PS miss the Hillingdonchat forum!
