Had a very, very nice meal in here last night. It's a Spanish restaurant (run by Spaniards), offering tapas or the traditional starters, mains etc. We had chorizo cooked in wine and fried camembert (a personal favourite) to start, followed by mains of fresh scampi cooked in sambuca sauce and the house speciality veal.
The menu was quite varied, with a slight emphasis on fish on the main course list, there were some more traditional dishes, e.g. lamb shank, but also some unusual things to try (like my scampi). Therefore I think it would suit a group of people with different tastes. If you want a lighter meal you can order tapas dishes incrementally until you are full (as they next table to us did). The service was superb, they were very attentive without being too in your face. For two and a half courses for two, washed down with a bottle of rioja, it was about £65 including tip. Slightly more pricey than our usual Nandos, but well worth it. I would definitely go back. |

Salud is really nice esp if you are going for an occasion. Not sure if Spaniards run the restaurant but it is def owned by Asians.
