I've heard someone tried to JCB the cash point out of the HSBC last night - is that true?

If it is, is it the second time they've tried it?

Looks like it. There's police crime scene tape cordoning off the forecourt and a chap replacing either the window or the cash machine.

Well! Was told they drilled a hole in it and placed a gas canister in it which they then exploded (which is the new way to do things these days apparently!) but it didn't work properly so they tried to smash the door in too which didn't work so they left empty handed. At about 3.20am.
