Hi, folks
The Parish Council is currently working with some teens on applying for a large grant to repair/replace the current skatepark alongside the community centre. The one we have there presently has been there for almost 20 years, is looking shabby and is due for an update. We have organised a mobile skatepark for the village on Saturday, the 19th March, in a portion of the Church Lane car park, from 11.30 to 5 and we would love some supportive faces to attend, please. The morning will be for younger children to skate/rollerblade/scooter or bmx, as they wish, and the older, more experienced riders will be doing their thing from 2-5. Please would you consider coming along to support our village kids on the day? Everybody is welcome! We will have petitions to sign, both For and Against the proposed improved park, and your opinions (especially positive ones!) will be much appreciated! |

Oops - thank you for pointing out - that's what happens when i play on the forum when i should be fast asleep...
Definitely a typo! The Mobile SkatePark Day is Saturday 19th JULY! From 11.30 till 5, in half of the Church Lane carpark. The rest of the carpark will be open, and parking will be free on the day, to make up for the inconvenience. The event is being advertised in surrounding areas too so i hope that it brings some visitors to CSP for the day. Please bring younger kiddies down for the earlier slot, or come and watch the more experienced teens between 2 and 5. There will also be sumo suits, a football sports cage, a music/gamer bus and some smaller beginner 'ramps' set one side for beginners to try. Please pop down to support our village teens? |
