I made a rare visit to Packhorse Rd last night and saw that Santucci's has gone and been replaced with another Italian. is it the same just under a new name, or a new restaurant, new owners? Anyone been?

we ate there week before last, all same just moved the door, put a menu stand right infront of the door and thrown a bit of paint around, same staff and menu, just the paintings on the wall have gone replaced by mirrors.
He was trying to sell it and the flat last year i understand, not sure though
Soup and Diavola pizza still a favourite

I believe the menu has now changed - I asked for Diavola at the weekend and was told that the closest was American Hot.
However looking at their website the menu doesn't include much pizza or pasta.

So what happened to Santuccis? Used to be a reasonable place to take children for a reasonably priced meal. Gone upmarket and pricey and not a single veggie option on the menu

that is a disaster and if you think how much of their revenue was the large groups of teenagers for birthdays funded by parents, they will not get that with this menu
Whilst in the queue sans vegetables someone said in Fishers last week that part of Richardsons was going to be a pizzeria?

Wouldn't surprise me if Pizza Express of Zizzi moved in. Maybe Suantucci had to go "up market" to distinguish itself from Wildwood - who do a whole host of 2 for 1, etc offers

Thanks - but you have to order a starter to get the half price deal. I can go to Zizzi in Beaconsfield and get two mains for a tenner
