Hi Chalfont Folk
I thought I would drop in here and say hi as My family and I will be descending on the Village to set up home in a few short weeks.
My Partner (Martin) has been working at the National Society for Epilepsy for a year now and we have decided to move from Gloucester so we have more time as a family.
Thanks to the forum (and a bit of snooping around on Street view!) I feel i am already getting to know my new home!
Our Son, Thomas, will be starting year 2 at Chalfont St. Peter Infants in September, If anyone on here has children/grandchildren also going into year 2 it would be great to meet up as Tom is quite naturally feeling a little anxious about making new friends, I am sure a familiar face on day 1 would go a long way to making him feel more confident.
Kind regards
Gemma

lovely to have messages from southend, Australia and finland...........but............um...................... Is there anyone left in chalfont, or have you all emigrated?
Is there something i don't know? .... should I be having second thoughts?!!
If there are any survivors still left in Chalfont, please say hi, I will be there in 4 weeks, you won't be alone for long!

Oh didn't you know, it's a ghost town? I'm still in Chalfont for a lot of the year, I just split my time between here and Finland so I've only half "emigrated." |

I'm in Chalfont and have a daughter going into year 2 although at a different school. I also have 17 month old twin girls. Happy to meet up for a play in the park if you fancy it.

Thanks Emma
we move in hopefully on the 22nd August, it would be nice to meet up the week after, give me and tom a bit of a break from unpacking and other boring stuff!
I will be in contact nearer the time to see if you are still around.
