Not  a CSP news item but a good illustration of how our worthy elected representatives spend our Council Tax.

With thanks to Sarah for pursuing this for me (yes, I was the whistleblower)

"Replacing two old bus shelters and modifying a new brick shelter in Station Parade is expected to cost £10,500.

"Members of Denham Parish Council have agreed to increase the provisional budget allocation of £8,000 by £2,500 to cover the costof moving the shelter which was built too close to the kerb."

Just a coincidence that the builder who has been used to build ALL of these new yob hideouts/rubbish bins , sorry , I mean bus shelters, is the BROTHER of one of the councillors?

Denham Parish Council have increased their budget by 9% this year .

£4,000 he charges per shelter Pierre . I have it on good authority that's £2,500 in his pocket after labour and materials.
